...champ this weekend was definitely the only one i could convince to ride along to Hinton. I obviously would not have had the races i had or actually raced at all this weekend if it wasn't for him. He is such a trooper, never complains and escorted both Gabor and i safely through the pre-ride. He carefully watched the truck during both the short and long course for bears or other creatures that snuck around. So i had no choice but to dedicate one of the jerseys and the medal to my very best buddy on and off the trail, Toby!
Great but a hard weekend of racing. Hardcore had a great crew out and Cory did a fine job putting on a challenging course both days.
Back in Calgary with a perfect feeling of beat!
