On our way to Tyrone we passed by the Continental Divide Trail sign so stopped on our way back to check it out. Got a few shots to share with Craig who will be, I expect, happy to see this sign as it will be near the end of his ride starting in Banff! Bike fanatics ride 7-9 day races, crazy people ride the Continental Trail or cross continents :) Wishing him the best of luck of course!
Tucson was amazing as it always is, was disappointed to learn that there was no possibility to change flights and stay for the weekend :( so off to Calgary via Los Angeles with out a ride up Mt. Lemmon. We drove it last night, beautiful drive up from 800+ m to 2700+ m. On the list for ride to do this fall.
Weekend in Calgary might include some rain, a couple of Deadgoat races and repack bags for trip to Boron (Bakersfield, CA), next week. This time I might plan it better, do my research upfront and plan to stay and ride after. Think its close to some nice areas to ride and tour.
