... was Katy and Toby's theme today. And they brought it on! A "half marathon" of a hike, in good snow. The around -10 that they called for did not come true. When we pulled in to an already busy parking lot it was -21! But sunny and beautiful just as the day before.
Started out same route as yesterday, then took off to Sugar Momma, Snag it..... and Boundary Ridge. We opted for no snowshoes again, and it went well. It didn't take long before we both got our temperatures up and at one point had to shed some layers.
Another amazing day in West Bragg, 30 min out of the city!
We were all tired after, had a quick stop in Bragg for some good food. Toby was not too happy with us leaving him behind for food, so he ate all the chocolate in the car (including wrappers, the best kind).
Another evening of baking put off due to tired legs, Toby is out and I'm not sure how Katy is doing at the climbing gym :)
Back north tomorrow, one more week then on the program for a few weeks of Nepal training!
